Affordable and unique design!
Parker are well known for manufacturing double edge razors since 1973 and have used their shaving expertise to create this affordable yet stylish and distinctive razor.
This razor is a close relative to the straight razor with the difference being that the blades can be changed, just like a safety razor. This means you don’t have to worry about stropping and sharpening yet enjoy the closeness of a straight razor shave!
Weight: 34g
Note: This will take standard double edged razor blades. Simply snap a double edge blade in half (lengthways). – click here for the blade replacement guide (PDF)

It’s a small tiny shave buddy. I use it to shave my neck area, which is very sensitive to traditional DE razor (I use Merkur 34C), but under mild touches of this shavette my neck goes close shaved and irritation free. Some say that shavettes are a lot less forgiving than the traditional cut-throat razors. Can’t argue that since I don’t have any experience with straight razors. It very light, but handy enough to keep it angled right. Just a little tip – to loose the fastener cap on top, just push the faux blade a little bit more inside. Worth to try SR1 and SR2 – the metal ones.

Bought this as an alternative to a straight razor to see if its the right shaving style for me, I must say its the best razor I’ve bought (coupled with Lord Single Edge Blades).
The handle is very nice shape to hold and I’m unsure if its an intended design but the lobe on the shank is a good place to put the thumb if your shaving with two fingers either side of the scales (ring finger on the tang). Alternatively if your putting your little finder on the tang and the other three on the other side of the scales then the shoulder is perfectly positioned.
All in all I’d say a brilliant buy for regular shaving, bridging across into straight razors or travel as it means you don’t require a strop!
