GETFRANK.CO.NZ, IAN KNOTT
Ian Knott, a reviewer for leading online men’s lifestyle magazine GetFrank.co.nz, said: “Straight out of the box the Goodfella screams of quality engineering with its 3 piece, back to basics chrome design. The Goodfella carries a healthy weight to it. Just holding the razor gives the impression that it’s built to last. I could never go back to shaving with anything else after using the Goodfella, it gives the best shave I’ve ever had – and believe me I’ve tried all manner of electric and retail brand of disposable razor. With good shaving practices and a simple rinse out afterwards, the Goodfella is the only razor you’ll ever need again.” You can read the full review online by clicking here.
SHAVING DETECTIVE.COM - HANS HENRIK APPEL, DENMARK
"The Goodfella is a classic chrome Double Edge razor in a clean, almost clinical, design. At first, it struck me as a very small razor, but it actually handles extremely well and is perfectly balanced. The Goodfella was my first attempt at a DE razor, and I must say that it impressed me with its great looks and the gentle shave it provides. At first, I thought that the short and slick handle would be slippery and hard to hold once it got wet. It turned out to fit perfectly in my hand – and never slipped a bit! The centre of balance was perfect for me, but I will not guarantee that it will fit anyone just as good. Like it goes for any other razor, it really is a matter of preference. The Goodfella is not an aggressive razor – in fact, you have to try quite hard to cut yourself with the open comb design."

Author: RT The Goodfella is small, well balanced and very easy to handle. And most importantly it shaves very smoothly.
Despite my "steel wire stubble" and sensitive skin I got no nicks, no burns, no rash and no redness.
This is my new favorite.
Author: James Nicholson This razor not only looks amazing but also gives a very good and comfortable shave. Like any new razor it takes a couple of weeks to learn the techniques required to get the best out of it. For the first few goes I was disappointed as I did not get a very close shave. I then realised that the optimum angle is very different from my previous favourite the Merkur 34c. Also, because the head is very light weight slight pressure is needed (you would have to press quite hard to cut yourself). Now I get at least as good a shave as I am used to with significantly less irritation. This is most noticable on the upper lip where the increased maneuverability afforded by the very slim head means that the correct shaving angle can be maintained right up to the nose.
In all I am extremely happy with my purchase. It's a shame that this razor is quite rare and expensive because with its non aggressive setup it would be an amazing introduction to DE shaving for the masses, and, with it's fantastically good modern looks Gillette would need to be worried.
Author: Javier San Jose It's smallest than it seems on pictures. I must say that, once I've tested it, I don't like the finishing of the handle. But the head is smooth and soft, to be a open-comb head. My best results are using the head of the Godfella with the handle of a Mühle R41. I will try also with a Bullmastiff handle to see how it works.
Not a bad razor. If someone from Goodfella is reading this, please consider changing the design of the handle.
