It has a beautiful almond scent that reminds me of the bakewell tarts my mother used to make when I was a boy! As with all Taylor creams, the lather produced is second to none. First he creates a shaving cream that is rich & velvety beyond belief, then he gives you one othe best aromas on the planet. Stop reading this & get yourself a tub right now! Ps. If you have small children, be carefull where you leave this because they may just scoff the lot, it really does smell so good. Author: Sam Palmer Lovely cream, smells just like marzipan and feels very good on the skin. Whipped up into a thick lather it produces, it enables a razor to glide easily and harmlessly (as long as you use it correctly, of course) across the skin. It also provides some nice skin conditioning properties, and for my sensitive skin it was perfect. Don't be fooled by the tub not looking expensive because the product certainly surpasses any prior doubts, and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Author: Richard Wall Out of the selection of high-end creams available I believe Taylor's offer the best value-to-performance ratio. There are other creams twice the price that I'd be hard-pressed to recommend over them. After my brush has been soaking I shake out excess water, put a dab of cream inside and work the brush on my face until a slick, creamy lather forms. I consistently great lathers and great shaves this way and this cream never lets me down. The scent is a delicious marzipan which smells strong in the tub but doesn't linger for long, so it won't clash if you like to finish your shave with a cologne or aftershave. Packaging is a sturdy plastic tub, perhaps not the prettiest, but it's the top-notch product inside that'll keep me coming back.
