Author: Ade Manning Decided to replace a very basic DE razor which is left at the better half's with something more like my Parker DE razor. Turns out I had enough shave points to cover this one, so duly ordered it. The razor turned up, and was found to be a good looking, nicely weighted piece of kit. Stubby compared to the Parker, and I prefer the longer handle, but this razor - once I had got used to its shorter length - shaves as well as the Parker and makes a decent change every so often...suffice it to say, the basic razor it replaced has now gone to DE heaven. Good razor, nicely balanced and weighted: if any starters are reading, you might want to try a longer handle first but it'll come down to personal preference of course.
Author: Neville Filar I bought this little beauty when I finally got into DE shaving around 4 months ago. Its a lovely smooth easy to use shaver and I would unhesitatingly recommend it to any new shaver
Author: M Spragg My first proper DE razor (After an initial cheap plastic boots version to see if it was for me or not) I was after something fairly forgiving and reasonable for a beginner. Feels solid and nicely weighted. I would say it's fairly difficult to cut yourself with it as its seems pretty forgiving and the handle grip works well, I used to Suffer from razor burn/rash and ingrowing hairs far to frequently using the standard mach 3's and fusion blades (As well as paying a small fortune for cartridges). This Razor gives me less irratation, cheaper in the long run and looks good too! Would recommend for new starters and its small enough to take traveling. Plus the butterfly opening to change blades really is a breeze and pretty accident proof!
Author: Adrian Warren So glad I choose this one can't believe thats it's more comfortable to shave with a 4-5 bladed system (which I'll never go back too) and so much cheaper too. In 2 months this razor has paid for its self. Can't recommend it more highly. But I will say that if you have hands on the bigger side of large you might find the handle a little to short.
Author: Peter Depledge I left the Mach 3 behind after this arrived. It's a comfortable shave, and much closer than the multi-bladed cartridge systems that I've used. Like other reviewers, I found the handle quite short compared to the Mach 3, but this is of little consequence. Changing blades is quick, easy and hassle-free.
For a new convert to De razors and shaving, I would say to allow more time for your morning shave until you get the hang of it. And soap/Cream and a brush is essential. No good shaving product comes out of an aerosol. Enjoy
Author: Robin Hugo Not impressed. I started DE shaving with a Lord Premium about 2 years ago. After being very pleased with the results I decided to try another DE razor and chose the Timor. I do not know if my Timor is faulty but it provides a terrible shave and it is enough to put me off the brand for life. I recently binned it. I ordered a Merkur Futur, here on Shave Shack, and I expect this to be a move in the right direction.
Author: Adam Cole I am extremely impressed with this razor! It feels good to hold, very well balanced and I have been getting great, close and non-abrasive shaves from it. For the price I highly recommend this razor.
