Perfect for slipping discretely into your man-bag , this 'cooling' moisturiser is laced only with the manliest of ingredients, with prickly pear, stinging nettle and fenugreek making this a totally street cred-worthy choice. Thankfully, they’re not as perilous as they sound, and promise to moisturise and reinvigorate the skin - and there's added aloe vera to sooth any unwanted redness.

Directions for use: Massage in wherever required avoiding the eyes. Use sparingly guys - it's good gear and goes a long way.

Ingredients: Aqua, castor oil, glycerin, cyclopenta siloxane, cetyl alcohol, monopropylene glycol, glyceryl stearate SE, jojoba oil, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, carbomer, menthol, parfum, phenoxyethanol, opuntia ficus indica (mexican prickly pear) seed extract, trigonella foenum, graecum extract, urtica dioica extract. I picked this sample up as part of a larger order to try out some of the Bluebeards Revenge kit. If this is anything to go by I will certainly be enjoying the rest of the range!

My skin normally falls under 'sensitive' with almost anything not specially formulated for 'sensitive skin' flaring my face up in next to no time. This time I was pleasantly surprised! Even though it is not sold as a 'sensitive' product it felt great when applied.

I really liked the fragrance (bodes well as I picked up a fair few other Bluebeards products to use!) and the moisturiser did a fine job of soothing my skin and making it feel nice and smooth almost instantly and the fragrance helped add to feeling refreshed / cooled in next to no time after my usual shower routine.

I reckon the 20ml size is a nice balance between a good 'tester' size and also enough to make sure you get more than one use to help fairly evaluate the product in question.

I'd be happy to pick up more of these in the future as I continue to discover the range available,

It would be great to see a few more companies following suit, especially as there are so many ranges to choose from (and a fair few don't come cheap for the full size packs),

All in all, a great start to the Bluebeards Revenge range for me and a nice amount of moisturiser to last until I can get a full size jar.
