I really like the green Proraso so I thought Id give this one a try, like the green one its more like a soap than a cream as its quite firm in the tub, I like the scent it and gave a good shave, so would recomend

I've used one of the basic 'cream in a tube' before and have nearly finished my coolest soap so thought I'd give this a try. It comes in a good sized tub and has a nice smell to it, guess that's the sandalwood. You only need a reasonably small amount to get a decent larger so the tub should last a decent time. I've used it with both my new shavette & my older de. Have def seen a better glide when using my de.

5 stars for delivery (thanks!) and 5 stars for what is an awesome shave every time I use this cream. For those unsure it's a hard cream (or a 'croap') that may require a little more working to get a good lather than say your average Taylor of Old Bond St cream, but definitely easier to work than a full-on soap.
The shea butter in this is genius- seriously the finish after shaving without even applying a moisturiser is incredible and actually feels like I've already applied one! How the shave itself is where I'm very impressed. My cream of choice has been Arran Aromatics for a while now, but it's about twice the cost of Proraso and wanted a cheaper option, but I still want a nice clean shave with low irritation for my highly sensitive facial skin.
This cream isn't quite as gentle as Arran Aromatics, but it is very good at providing a clean, no-nonsense shave and honestly I prefer this one for just that: no nonsense. It just feels like a sharp and to-the-point shave.
The only downsides I've found are it's a very sticky cream went left, that is if you're not prompt about your shave it's going to become more and more sticky and harder to shave without causing yourself some pain. I've used other Proraso creams and it's 100% the same with those too, so just bear this in mind. Additionally the smell is... actually I don't even know what it is, it's like a combination of basic soap with an essential oil of some sort that I can't place. Definitely don't buy this if you're after something with a nice scent, though luckily the odd smell doesn't linger and generally smells a little better post-shave.
Really very impressed and will be looking to get this one again in the future as long as I remain a frugal DE razor user.

I bought this with my first DE razor (EJ DE89BL) and it is so easy to get a good lather using a vulfix 404 brush that easily gives me 3 passes. And the smell is excellent, it only starts wearing off by midday if i shave first thing in the morning. My wife loves the smell as well so thats a bonus!

I love proraso green so I thought I would give this a shot. Having never tried anything with a sandlewood sent I was unsure what to expect. But the smell is lovely and it lathers like a dream. Now its winter I have been using it more than the green. Great stuff!

After using a number of different shaving creams I decided to give this one a go on a recommendation from a friend. Don't draw any conclusions on this based on it's price as it out performs creams at twice the price.

I love this cream. Only a small amount of cream is required to make lots of lather. It smells nice and will defiantly recommend this cream.

Usually use the Taylor's sandalwood cream, but thought I'd give this a try. Actually get a slightly creamier foam with the proraso - and the shea butter is good...
I'm a convert!
