I bought this to replace a butterfly razor which was working a bit loose and giving trouble. This is a fine razor that clamps that blade real tight and gives the best shave I've had in ages.

This is a very beautiful razor. Nice weight and well polished. The handle has a very nice feel to it, it is very grippy. Not quite as fast to change blades as a butterfly razor but it is still as easy (I will add I think it is easier to clean due to being able to take it apart easily). Got it for the weekend sale price (with 30 free double edged blades), I think this was a fantastic deal. With 30 blades free I think it has already paid for itself upon delivery compared to expensive cartridge razors. :)

This Parker really cuts lika a razor. It leaves a lot of blade exposed and also keeps a good space between the blade and the comb. The edge of the blade is really sticking out. It's quite easy to cut myself when I don't pay attention. But the shaving feels like an efficient, sharo cutting - not the scraping I've got from other safety razors. Beautiful, simple construction, well-crafted and at a bargain price.

As my entry to DE wet shaving, this razor seemed like a very reasonably priced, decent looking place to start. And it was! Even though i'm still only a teenager, I have a rather heavy beard and very sensitive skin. I was looking for a better shave, and the Parker was great. The old school modelling is beautiful and it feels sturdy and well built.

Wow! I have been shaving for the last twenty years with cheap, disposable razors and finally decided to man up and try a more traditional approach. After reading many reviews I decided to give this one a try and boy was I impressed. Feels like a real quality item and the moment I started using it I realised that this was the first time I had had a proper shave. I used it with the Wilkinson sword blades and found the shave to be extremely close but very rewarding. Alright, I had a few little nicks to deal with but I was amazed at the finish, as was my very happy wife who hates whiskers!! I am a total convert and now look forward to shaving, making it a ritual instead of a chore!!

Bought this razor to use when I'm not in the mood/don't have time to use my cutthroat. Handles excellently, with a very good weight balance. The handle provides a far superior grip to your average cartridge razor, and is far better looking!
