The mug is a great buy . It's well packaged and helps create loads of lather . It looks the part on the side in the bathroom. I would recommend it !

a magic little mug, to small to take soap without cutting it down , and after only rinsing under the tap a dozen times he presto the motif on the side disapeared

Seriously though, i was previously lathering up using a shaving soap in the bowl it came in, and I purchased this bowl because it looked the part to go with all of my new shaving kit, and it really does look the part as well as helping me to get and maintain a much better consistency with my shaving soap!

I bought this bowl mainly because it Looks Great!
It looks great in any PROPER SHAVING KIT !
It is beautifully-made, However! One problem I have is; when you are mixing the lather the brush "clinks"
Against the rim of the bowl, which can be annoying!
Maybe I am just doing it wrong!
Other than that it is a very nice product.
Get one if you want a PROPER SHAVING KIT !

After reading the other reviews on here, I felt it was time to "get with it" as Nicholas rightly said, and I'm glad I did. Comes in a really nice box (that's handy for keeping blades in) and really well protected by bubble wrap. The bowl itself is of high quality and really looks the part, plus no more nagging from the Missus about lil hairs in her cerial.........whoops.

Used this today to mix my lather in. I find that the handle on the side was perfect for holding the mug whilst creating the lather and applying. It also fits into the bathroom stylishly I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the right piece of kit that looks great on the bathroom shelf

I bought this mug mainly because of the looks and it does indeed look very smart. Having read that some find it a little small, I was surprised to find it a little bigger than I expected...more the width of a coffee mug than a teacup.Used it for the first time today and it was certainly "fit for purpose". Would buy one again without hesitation.

Great product. Good size. Easy to hold. My soap puck was a little too big to fit into the bottom of mug but I shaved it down and now it fits fine. There is plenty of room between soap and top of mug to create a good rich lather. Looks very smart.
