The Blade Guard is made of plastic and protects the blade and prevents cuts when storing the safety razor or whilst traveling. The Blade Guard is primarily designed to work for all MÜHLE double edge safety razors with open and closed combs. However, in our tests, it also fits the Merkur 34C, Merkur 38C, Parker non-butterfly razors and Edwin Jagger double edge razors.

fits the razor nicely and tightly, very well made. can see the quality of it. to most people its just a lump of plastic, but Muhle definately made sure the finish etc. were all spot on for that little piece of plastic. locks up tight, protects the head and your fingers from damage to the head and cuts to you :) cant go wrong for the price.

SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE
I do a fair amount of travelling, this little cover protects the blade in the razor (and your fingers if delving around whilst half asleep). Fits the 2 double edged razors I own nicely and should easily fit most others.

Got this so I could take my razor travelling. It is a plastic cap, fits my EJ DE89 great. It seems to fit most Safety Razors of similar size. Great buy.
