The Shaving Shack verified purchase.

I bought this after 5 years using a Merkur 34C as I wanted a heavier feel and longer handle.
I use it with Feathers blade and I must say I have been a bit disappointed as it doesn't seem to give as close a shave as the 34C. I would recommend it for a beginner or someone with light stubble (being of Italian descent that's not my case and I'm considering a change already...)

This is my 2nd razor from the shack,and was picked after talking to them as i was looking for a longer handle,and a slightly heavier weight.the razor itself is very nice,feels fantastic and is nearly perfect.My 1 concern?it doesn't feel like it shaves quite as close as the bluebirds scimitar?Almost,but not quite.I am using gilette 7oclock blades,but have some feathers to try,so hopefully that will make it perfect.
