Author: Ian Morewood I picked up one of these whislt on holiday (didnt pack razor) from the local chemists and regretted shaving with it. It may have been the Lord blade, it could have been the hard water stopping the soap being quite as fluffy as usual or it could have been the blow away weight of this razor, the end result where stinging cheeks and a not very close shave.

A cracking razor that gives a far cleaner shave than any more "modern" razor, and cheaper to boot! An absolute bargain piece of quality shaving kit. Liked it so much I bought a spare for travelling!
Author: Andrey Samarkin I think this razor is really excellent choice for trying DE shaving. It has low price and good quality. Comparing it with my other razors : less agressive, able for faster shaving than Merkur 34C and less comfortable than Muehle R89. Yes, design is not so cool as those grands, but for the price and quality- you should try Lord to decide if DE shaving for you. Perhaps, even this level is enough for you.
Author: Ian Birtwell Always having used either cartridge razors or electric shavers, I had the urge to do the job properly at the ripe old age of 46! Not having a clue what to get, I bought this cheap razor and a selection pack of blades. The razor itself is quite light and has a long handle. My first efforts were quite frightening but within three shaves I was achieving a great shave without nicks. I would recommend this razor, not just for 'testing the water' but as an every day razor. It's not bright and shiny like some other razors but it gets the job done and at the price you can't go wrong!
