This is a great razor and very good value it even comes with a very handy case which makes it ideal for travel & two feather blades which are the best blades to use in this razor I can't recommend the feather popular enough great service from the shaving shack

I bough a few of these to give away as gifts to a few friends who were curious about getting into wet shaving. These are ideal for entry level as they're not aggressive razors. Although they're cheap price wise, the overall quality of the razors are great. So I gave away the razors to my friends to check out and they have come back with comments such as "best shave I've ever had, no irritation or shaving rash" and "smooth as a baby's bum, love the razor" . If you're thinking of trying out wet shaving, give these Feather razors a try. It's a nice, cheap and gentle introduction into the best shaving experience you will ever have.

On the basis of this being a Feather razor, I bought one just to see what it is like. I was surprised by the weight of the razor, for a mainly plastic construction it feels solid and handles well. Normally I use a Merkur which can be harsh and unforgiving if you approach your daily routine in anything but a wide-awake paying attention state, this Feather razor, however, is one of the gentlest I have used. The finish is almost as good as the Merkur and I now have a new favourite morning razor. The Merkur has been relegated to evenings and special occasions only.
