They are extremely sharp and I find them very smooth to use with no tugging or razor burn. I will definately be buying another pack. Author: Siamak Dabirrahmani I'm new to DE shaving and I was told feather baldes are ninja sharp asassins and should only be used by experienced shaver,so I used derbys for a while and tonight I had go at the feathers,words cannot describe how smooth this blade is,no nicks what so ever,best shave I have ever had and would like to thank shaving shack for their exeptional deal on baldes,best on the net! Author: Andrew Kerensky Oh my God, Feather blades should come with a public health warning! I don't think I've come across a blade yet than i can say is as sharp as the feather and I've used probably 10 different DE blades. My advice is to only use these blades after you become competent with wet shaving. I ordered Derby blades as well but the performance of these Feather blades erally is magnificient. I have not had a smoother shave. I am quite new to DE shaving and was a little 'apprehensive' about these blades, expecting to 'chop' my head due the their sharpness. I use a Merkur Futur razor on the lowest setting and got what must have been the best shave I have experienced. The real selling point of these razors is how long they stay sharp. I have a beard, now I mean a REAL thick curly beard. I get approx 50% more shaves with these razor with little or no real nicks. Brilliant, will be buying some more soon!! Author: Ivan Cousins NEVER use these blades if you are in a hurry, if you do you will end up needing a blood transfusion..plenty of time and a well prepared face and you will end up with the smoothest shave of your life. At £6.99 for 30 with free postage i thought they were pretty good value, thats just 23 pence per blade, isnt your face worth it.
