Author: Matthew Walters Iv'e been DE shaving now for about a year, and have tried a few aftershave balms, and up to now in my opinion this is the best. Its taken me a year but I now think I have found my perfect set up. I prepare using Bluebeards revenge pre shave oil, then shave with Mitchells wool fat soap and a Merkur 34 HD with a feather blade, then a quick rub round the face with an Osma block dipped in cold water, followed by the Vintage daily face balm to finish off. If you've got the time to take your time it'll be the best shave you've ever had!
