The Claw is an excellent chrome plated zinc alloy open comb head that offers an aggressive shave comparable with a Fatip razor. Standard M5 thread that fits a number of three piece razor handles e.g Muhle/Edwin Jagger/Parker.

The more downwards curving and open comb exposes the blade more which is good for when you have more growth to remove, with less clogging than a closed comb. It's important to prep your face properly but the results are worth it. A bit more aggressive than the Drake head.

This is my first open comb head, so I tried it with caution but no problems at all. A close comfortable shave idea if you have a few days growth to cut through.

I find The Claw more forgiving than my Muhle 41 open comb yet I still get very close with just two passes. I use it with a heavy s/s barrel and let the weight do the work. A great buy.

This 'rake' head has turned out to be every bit as good as my more expensive 'rake' from a famous and expensive Solingen (Germany)brand. With reasonable care a 'rake' / open comb should outperform a closed-comb razor.
