Even in case of hard water this cream creates very good lather, not the slickest, but what's important no irritation even with sharper blade use. Well about slowing beard growth I can't pass a sentence, because I'm rotating shaving soaps and creams too often and sample quantity is too little to see effect..Next time I do my shopping here I will probably purchase same brand aftershave.. Author: Thomas Lowe I receieved this as a free sample with my first order (just embracing the world of de safety razor shaving) I have used a shaving brush/soap and creams for a couple of years now and have to say this is an excellent product. It produces a rich creamy lather with very little effort and provides a very smooth and comfortable shave. I am using it in conjunction with a shaving oil. After approximately 20 shaves I am also noticing a reduction in hair growth particularly on my cheeks/neck. Considering I have extremely thick dense hair growth I'm pleasantly suprised by this. Author: Adam Povey Being somewhat sceptical of the claims made many men's grooming products and being quite happy using my current shaving cream ( Marlbourgh by D R Harris) I couldn't see how this product could be any better. How wrong was I. The smell is modern and clean, the lather is rich and long lasting and my merkur 38c seemed to just glide through my two day growth as if it wasn't there. It also seems to of dramatically reduced the razor burn I suffer from and combined with the shaving balm the results are truly fantastic.
