Author: Andy Dingle Received my Starter set today, & had my first ever DE shave. I have to say it is freakishly sharp when combined with the Israeli blade. Holding the razor in my hand actually felt like I had something substantial to hold on to whilst shaving.
For anyone starting out in the DE shaving systems & are dubious (as was I) give this a go, & you won't be disappointed.
Author: Andrew Akehurst An excellent starter kit. The razor is of top quality and has a good and weighty feel in the hand. The badger hair brush feels great on the face and does the job it's supposed to.
I must congratulate the Shaving Shack on its level of customer service. The drip stand had unfortunately been broken in transit; I was sent a replacement with no quibbles or fuss. Thanks guys!
Author: Justin Robinson Have been using my DE starting kit for a number of weeks now, a far superior shave when compared with modern multi blade systems. It takes longer but is worth it, my shaving rash has disappeared.
I had a little trouble with the butterfly mechanism on the razor, one of the 'wings' kept popping out, but pushed it back into place and carried on.
Using the brush and proper shaving cream is probably the biggest plus, smells and feels good and a little goes a long way.
Very economical and highly recommended.
