The set comprises of a stand manufactured from durable high impact plastic with an excellent black gloss finish and chrome metal effect trim. The Mach 3 razor and brush are manufactured from the same material again with chrome trims. The bowl is removable and can contain shaving soap up to 10cm in diameter and 3cm deep. The brush and razor are placed on the stand to keep the ensemble neatly together and the brush hangs in the correct position to ensure it dries correctly to promote longevity.
If you have already used a badger brush then you will already know why they are regarded as the benchmark against which all other shaving brushes are tested, if you have previously used bristle or, dare we say, nylon, then you are in for a treat. Good water retention and softness combine to make shaving a pleasure and the Mach 3 razor has a worldwide reputation. These 2 items combined with the complementary stand make this set a fine purchase, but with the shaving bowl / mirror it becomes outstanding!
