If you're not sure whether you want to shave with a straight blade, buy one of these and it will convince you, in less than a week I'm getting better shaves than I have ever done with my Mach 3 Turbo! Although I had a slight graze to my left side, I'm well pleased with how well it went!
I think the secret is to lay the razor flat against your face, then tilt it up to the correct angle. The sensation of the naked blade skimming your face is amazing. Can't wait to try a real straight!!
I'd recommend this for anyone with any interest in straight shaving - it's cheap and helps you develop correct technique.
