Especially if you use soaps that comes in wooden bowls. But it performs like a charm and the workmanship as a whole is terrific. The bristles are superb and the brush has great backbone. Classy handle. Author: Alex Kettle-Stupka I really like this brush, broke in quickly, is a lovely combination of soft at tip but still invigorating and firm enough bristle shafts to really work a hard soap.
