Author: Steven Bennett This brush is excellent with what ever you decide to throw at it. I have using it for a couple weeks since I bought it from the Shaving Shack. It whips up creams and soaps to a perfect lather in no time at all. The tips are very soft and luxurious and I find the handle to be very comfortable. The red display/storage case it comes in has luxury written all over it. It makes it look like you paid double what you did really. The brush lacks density in the Badger hair but I feel Kent purposely did this. If a brush is too dense it could be considered a lather hog meaning the hair doesn't release the lather onto the face. This is a great brush and I would highly recommend it. I will be buying it's bigger brother the BK8 very shortly just to have a bigger brush.
Author: Sascha Neuberger I just tried my BLK4 for the first time today , and I must admit it was love at first stroke . Its size is perfect, and sits comfortably in your hand. The bristles are in perfect balance between too floppy (unlike its monster brother BK12 which felt like a mop on my face and I therefore passed it on to a friend) and too hard , and build great lather very quickly.
I've never encountered a better value for money brush , and this one is sure to become one of my favorites in my rotation . I can only imagine what it's like when the brush is properly broken in.
If you only go for one shaving brush I would strongly recommend the Kent BK/BLK4 as the brush of your choice !

Author: Steve Gray I tried a cheap Badger Brush on eBay but it felt rough. As I had ordered The Pils Razor from The Shaving Shack I felt it deserved a Proper Brush to go with it. As I had a Kent Brush years I decided to get another one, what a great brush the size is ideal and so smooth you only feel the lather going onto your face.
I would recommend the Kent BLK4

This brush hasnt shedded a hair and works great with both creams and soaps. Will most likely become my daily brush.

Author: Leigh Turner Having purchased a relatively cheap badger hair brush in the past, I decided to spend a little bit more on my next brush purchase. I suffer from nasty razor burn/bumps, so having a comfortable shave is a must. This brush is the dogs, the bristles are so soft & together with a good quality shave cream they produce a stunning setup to a comfortable shave. Finger crossed it continues for a while & the pesky burn/bumps stay away.
