I love the cherry almond like scent of this soap, kinda reminds me of cherry bake wells. Easily produces a nice creamy lather that lasts on the face. I just wish it came in a slightly wider pot for loading the brush more easily but over all a great shaving soap. That I personally would buy again.

I find this soap produces a very creamy luxurious lather with a hint of Almond smell to it. Lasts ages but I found that when the soap is nearly used-up the soap at the bottom of the dish becomes lumpy and harder to dissolve in the lather.

I am not too impressed with the scent but not bad. I decided to try this product after thorough research. I was looking for conservative ingredient soaps/creams and figured Cella leans on safe side of spectrum. So ease of mind, I compensated with boring scent because there are so many shaving products with exciting scents. If tallow base bothers you stay away, but if it doesn’t you must try. It will give you outstanding performance and after shave feeling. Since it is somewhat soft soap do not lather like your other hard soap. After couple trial you will realize it is easy to figure the best method for this soap. Price? One less whisky shot at a bar and even this alone is worth of try.

Ive had this soap/cream for about a month now and the jurys still out. I treat it like a soap and get a good lather which provides a nice cushion but im not that fussed, I even like the smell but just dont love it like others that I've tried. Just a personal thing however I cant fault the price and function.

Hands down, in my opinion this is probably as good as it gets. You don´t have to worry if you have hard/soft water etc. This soap PERFORMS without effort. Classy Old School Italian barber scent. You can really buy this soap without the slightest hesitation.

Excellent Italian soft soap, used with a semogue 810 brush and this soap produced masses of rich creamy lather which was enough for three passes, the resulting shave was very close and smooth, I can't praise this soap highly enough, do yourself a favour and get some soon.

This is great stuff. The scent is nice while shaving, but dies off fairly quickly so you're not getting a clash with your aftershave or fragrance, and it produces creamy, slick lather. A word of advice is to use a good boar brush with this. It works well with a badger, but when paired with a boar, this stuff comes into it's own and makes a ridiculously slick, lubricating, moisturising lather. It can be a fairly thirsty soap, so don't be afraid of giving it some water

It is an excellent soft soap (not a cream like is written on the box). Very good almond scent, and very foamy while mounting directly on face too. The price is good compared to the optimum quality of this Italian soap. I'm proud of this product from my country!

Good Soap / Cream Hybrid, It lathers lovely & smooth, not using a lot of the soap per shave so looks like its going to be great value, especially at the price. Nice marzipan scent, but may not be for everyone, however its gone after the shave. I would recomend

I find this a funny soap to use. It's very much down to how this soap feels on the day IMO and as a Ducati, Alfa & Brasilia owner I feel qualified to make that statement .
Using the Vulfix 404 this soap can produce either awesome 3 pass lather or disappointing 2 pass lather using the same preparation.
No matter, just dab a bit more for pass #3 and face lather.
Scent is ok, not invigorating or special.
Won't buy again but glad I tried it.

I bought this over my usual Bluebeards or Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap as I want to try and find which soap works best for me.
So far I have had really clean and smooth shaves with this soap (coupled with my Edwin Jagger DE89 and Shark blades), as others have pointed out it is not a cream but is a soap (albeit a very soft and very malleable soap) and it does lather extremely well in the pot and on the face.
The thing that hits you immediately is the smell. Someone described it as Almond, to me it smelled of Marzipan, great if you have a sweet tooth.
It's not bad value for the size and price, gives a smooth shave and smells quite sweet. If you're trying different soaps like I do then definitely give this one a go.
