Shaving Shack joins the world of Twitter
Here at the Shaving Shack we like to keep up to date with the latest ways of providing you with latest offerings and special discounts!
So, with that in mind, we have decided to launch our very own Shaving Shack Twitter service.
This means you can get all the latest offers and news to your web browser, mobile or handheld device in bite-sized 140-character ‘tweets’.
“By signing up to our Twitter service, users will get access to all the latest offers, discounts and shaving updates,” said Nick Gibbens, web and PR manager at Shaving Shack.
“Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be notified each time an update is made. And what’s more, the service is completely free to use.”
If you have a Twitter account, simply go to http://twitter.com/shavingshack and click on follow to get all the updates.
If you don’t have a Twitter account, you can sign up easily by creating an account on the Twitter website. Just visit the Twitter homepage – http://www.twitter.com – and click ‘Get started – join’.
All you need to do is enter your name and email address and choose a user name and password.
To follow the Shaving Shack, simply search for ‘shavingshack’.
Shavettes…the low maintenance option!
We’ve just taken stock of our eagerly anticipated Shaving Shack branded shavettes, available in black and white here:
You may have experienced these in barber shops when you’ve gone to get your haircut, as they are often used to finish off the back of the neck. These are however, a truly low cost and low maintenance alternative to straight razor shaving.
Imagine being able to shave as close as a straight razor shave, using exactly the same technique, yet without the stropping and the honing (sharpening) involved!
We have many customers who use these as their daily shaver having made the jump from DE shaving to straight razor shaving. It’s a cheap way to learn the straight razor shaving technique as detailed in our FAQ section here:
How to use a Straight/Cut-Throat Razor (remembering that you won’t need to strop or hone!)
They also make an inexpensive and cool gift for dads and sons!
Shaving Shack products take up acting…
We’ve just donated one of our razors (a Parker 60R to be precise) to the Guildford School of Acting for a production called “110 in the Shade”, a musical set in 1936 Texas during a drought. So, if you’re in the Guildford area between the 4th and 7th of November be sure to check it out, details are on this website:
